Description
The Westside Sword is one of Westside's high speed drivers that is extremely user friendly. Designed to slice through the air with ease, the Sword will hold any line you put it on, a straight line flight with a Hyzer finish. For professional players, the Sword will fly straight, long, and predictable. For lower speed arms, the Sword will give you that extra distance you want without losing any accuracy.

Live By The Sword.....

I want to preface this review by saying that I DO NOT have a big arm. When I first saw the Sword, I knew I had to throw one at least once. I approached it with tempered expectations, due to it being a 12 speed distance driver. The first thing I noticed is how comfortable the grip was. Between the profile and rim depth, it was a perfect fit. I didn't expect to get max distance out of it due to my slower arm speed. I have generally preferred discs like the Latitude 64 River and Saint. It's pretty easy for me to keep those straight and get good distance. Long story short, it only took about 5 throws to get a good feel for it. Any reservations I had about it being too fast or too overstable for my arm speed were quickly put to rest. It's such a great disc and I feel like almost anyone could find a place for it in their bag. I bag 2 of them. One is pretty well worn and is perfect for flex shots. The other one is newer and still overstable enough to cut through a bit of a headwind. I have been bagging the Sword for the last 5 years and will continue to do so until I can no longer play disc golf. As always, I hope you find this review helpful and may the course be with you.

Straight distance

If you have 300-400 feet of distance you will love this disc! It's similar to a trespass, or in other companies similar to a Jet or Gorgon or essence or thrasher but longer. If you're looking for a step up in distance without losing control, this is your disc!
